WELCOME
New Reflections, Inc. provides shelter for homeless women (with or without children). We offer a non-judgmental environment for women escaping victimization or domestic violence, divorced, unemployment and ex-offenders. We help women identify their barriers and strengths by providing the tools and resources needed to help end their cycle of homelessness and live a productive stable life.

OUR SUCCESS
We have many success stories to share at New Reflections Emergency Shelter but this one touched our hearts the most.
A homeless family was placed with us by our collaborative partner. As an NRI participant for two years, the mother took advantage of the NRI Volunteer Childcare Services. This catered to the pick-up and drop off her school age children. She used the time in her to pursue her lifelong educational goals by obtaining her GED.
She never stopped at just GED, went to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and went on to become a full time CNA. It gladdens our heart to know that she’s the first of her family to obtain a professional license. All of these was achieved and she still met weekly with her NRI Case Manager. While adhering to the NRI Savings Challenge, she was able to save enough to secure an affordable one-bedroom apartment that NRI located for the family.
In the end, the family achieved the ultimate goal of permanent housing through the support, assistance, encouragement, and empowerment services provided by New Reflections, Inc.

OUR VISION
We ultimately strive to be effective in the fight against homelessness by being our community’s first choice for individuals and families in need of shelter and security. We intend to see every woman and family battling homelessness leave our program having gained independence and stability.
